If you follow us on Facebook then you will already have seen it but we have just finished of a nice wee tiling job where we replaced an existing plain sandstone front entrance way/front step for a home in Glasgow with a lovely mosaic tiled entrance.
While these kind of jobs may not be as grand as a full Victorian hallway floor tiling project or a kitchen tiling job, it is these kind of features that can really set of a home and make the entrance to your property more than just the front door.
The tiling job involved replacing the existing sandstone step, removing the rotten supports and joists, then fitting healthy new ones.
The new vestibule tiles were installed to match the Victorian patterns that homes of this period so often featured. The mosaic Victorian pattern was picked out by the client so she knew exactly what to expect in advance.
